Most qualified technician on Ebay...can I say LOL?!?

I'd send the guy a link to this forum, but his poor head would probably explode.

I never realized how barren it was one the inside of an original NES. I think that he had to use the LED because the original had probably failed. He probably was displaying those certs to make sure you know that he has the experience to restore an NES. What does an A+ and a... compsomething certification have to do with cleaning out an NES while restoring the blue LED with your skills? Absolutely nothing.

I hate that certified tech guy that brags about it. He doesn't even say what he's certified in. Here's a link to my current one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270254165063&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=017 I think he put the blue LED in there after seeing this guy that paints them do it.

dude my qualification is worth more than his, that and my dad sells on ebay, he has A+, MCSE, MSDST, BTEC, Various C&G qualifications anda HND.

I would like to see him try to challange the last one (HND) as being lower than an A+ cert

hay, i just noticed according to the examining board an A+ is just a certificate, its level 4, my diploma i did was level 5, and my dads HND is level 6 and he has one in level 7!

Hmmm, makes me feel like printing an IKEA A+ Designer cert, frame it, shoot it, and then sell off broken lamps on eBay.

I don't care how many certifications you have, that don't mean ****. I have worked with people certified up the ying yang and they could barely spell computer let alone build a reliable one or for that matter even know where to start to fix one.

If I was even remotely interested in that guys product, I would immediately leave his page since his spelling sucks, his grammar is worthless and any tech worth a grain of salt NEVER brags about something as simple to get as an A+........

I sent him a message to that effect...

Hahaha.. yeah, the spelling was the first thing I noticed too. When someone spells "gamer" wrong, you have to wonder. (gammer?)

It's funny actually, I applied for a job as a Geek Squad tech a couple years back, and was told that I didnt have any certifications so I didnt qualify. "Umm.. I've been a technician since 96, and worked all over the world. Experience doesnt count?"

That's fine.. two weeks later I was hired as a sysadmin, and I've been here ever since. :D Certications are over rated.

His grammar is awful too...

I have been a nintendo nes gammer gammer?
I have repaired and serviced countless numbers of NES systems.
Dont be fooled by other vendors who say there they're certified ask to see there their certification!!
Very few technicians have the skill ...
In doing so this will ensure ...
The original red LED light has been replaced with a blue LED light.
My Nintendo's are the BEST apostrophe?

Hmm.. anyone here with an account want to test a theory?

Put up a good, working item at a high price, and make 400 spelling errors in the description, and talk it up like it's the greatest thing ever.

Post the same item at a reasonable price, be correct in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and be modest with your description.

See which one goes first.

I've got an account, and two items that I need to get on there--a wetsuit that's never been used and a Coca-Cola edition Yahtzee game NIB that I picked up at a garage sale for 50 cents. I just might have to try this theory out.

Do I still have to blow into the cartridge to play the game though?

Not quite. You open the cardboard box and blow into that...

I got $81 for mine, and for one with 1 game and a chewed up zapper, I got $61, although I didn't brag or have spelling or grammar errors that I know of, and I don't feel like trying after having some success. I do hate when the people brag like that on their auctions.
