What's your plans for tonight?

Mine are pretty simple..

1. Finish building/installing new server.
2. Install/config DNS, DHCP, AD
3. Install SQL, IIS, and Exchange 07 on new server
4. Migrate 75 users to new server in new domain
5. Move 200gb of User data to new server
6. Migrate SQL databases, users, and security settings to new server
7. Move 20gb of email to new server, and configure everyone's mailboxes
8. Ensure OWA is working with IIS, then set up IIS for document sharing
9. Caffeine (likely be around 3-4am by this time, if I'm lucky)
10. Testing to ensure everything works.
11. Breakfast
12. Finish wiring 7 offices for phone system
13. Go home.. hopefully.

Yeah, my night is going to suck.

Also at work until 6am, but web surfing will be minimal, the heat seems to inflame the already irritated stupidity I deal with.

It is currently 0231 local time and i have another hour to go before i can even think of leaving, been here 11 hours already.

Browsing the net, have been making a program to make my life easier at work but the boss is very releutent to let me implament it on the system as he seems to be under the impression i don't know what im doing when it comes to computers becuase he knows how to make formulas in excel so he is the best in the world!

Now if only i can find out how to submit this post, Ahh her we go, i would never have though of that /scarasiam

Thanks Bozo,

sadly things didnt quite work out as planned. I spent 33hrs straight working on the problems, and managed to recover the shared drives/folders, and all the users personal folders, but email is still offline and the new mail server isnt quite ready yet.

I would have stayed longer to finish working on it, but HR chased me out of the building.. something about working 33 hrs straight, and proposing to stay for another 15 or so.. labor laws, etc. :(

So anyways, I'm at home right now, just had some dinner, and I'll be back in the office tomorrow before 7am to get things underway.. if all goes well mail should be up around 9am or so.. only 20gb of email to import.. :P
