LCD Backlight

[Short Modder]

Hey all. I recently had a backlight on a notebook go out and I need to fix it so I can return it to my friend. I got in touch with Dell and they wanted to sell me the whole panel assembly for $300. All in all, I just need the backlight for a Dell Inspiron 2200 at a reasonable price. Any help or a push in the right direction would be great! Thanks....

Sadly Ebay is probably your only choice.. google would know for sure though..

There's always the possibility of building your own solution from LED's, but lets just say it's a little harder than it looks. :P

You could probably just replace the lamp.
