Here is a pic of my side panel I have just spent hours sanding down to bare metal... now what is the best way to weather it?

good link, thanks man! Although, I am trying to not repaint... I was thinking of blasting it with some bird shot to start with...

Take it outside, hose it down, let it sit for a few days?

Well, he said he didnt want to repaint.. ;) ..and what better to weather a case than.. weather?
Real rust + clear coat = real looking rust, sealed. :D

:) sometimes I guess the answer is just that obvious...isn't it. Thanks bro :)
alu rusting is different than steel. its not really rust, because the red comes from the oxidization of the iron, alu weathering just dulls the finish, and its more of a blackish rust...or more of a layer of oxidation...its not really that visible
