Well I'm getting closer to ordering the parts for my PC and as such I'm planning to mod this case to better suit my needs.

The number one thing I wanna to is replace the top shroud. I don't like the way it just sort of dies out on the back end.
So what I was thinking is use the existing mount points that are there and bolt down a base plate, then just put up small pylon type things on that plate and skin it, like PC did on the Doom 3 case's top section

The only thing is I don't know what to use or how to skin such a thing.
Then replace those god-awful flaps with a garage-style door. I still need to plan that out. Something I have noticed in all the garage-style doors that have been made here is the lack of flexibility. If the doors sat on small wheels that ran in guides like real doors do then a lot of new possibilities open up. The tracks curve points could be much thinner. I'd need to do the work to figure the specifics but such a setup can be done fairly easily.
That and the drive system could be re-designed to be more out-of the way. Something like this:

Any thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated.
