At what point does ebay decide to ban someone? This guy (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=cajunfox&&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller&sspagename=VIP:feedback:2:us&iid=350081571073) has received 39 negatives in the past year! He's selling this cool Apple PowerCD (http://cgi.ebay.com/Apple-PowerCD-Photo-Audio-data-CD-player-w-remote_W0QQitemZ350081571073QQihZ022QQcategoryZ419 3QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) that was one of the earliest CD players. It once retailed for $499!! Nevermind with that kind of feedback.

I think that only 39 out of 3883 is pretty damn good. There's always people that won't be happy. I've just been lucky, because all of the people that bought stuff from me, and were unhappy never left feedback.

I don't know, in my opinion 39 is pretty bad. I wouldn't gamble on him/her.

People with crappy reviews probably don't sell stuff very well, lol. I'm betting they just end up giving up after a while.

they have 39 in the past month, but with 3883 positives, that's 97.something percent. I buy from those types of people all the time.so less than 3 out of 100 people aren't satisfied. My uncle sells a lot of stuff, and has about the same percentage. One person left feedback for a motor "I didn't put any oil in it, and it seized up."

The old adage "You can't please all the people all the time" applies to this. The negatives are coming from some grade A jackasses most likely.

My mom's friend also got a lot of those (assholes, not cd players), and had a little over 97%.

Looking at the most recent negative feedbacks he was given, he said that he tried to do his best and the customer wouldn't.
He seems to sell a lot of old computer stuff, and from the handful of bad reviews I have read, maybe people thought that they were buying something that they weren't. But He seems like he will work with you, so if you want to buy whatever he is selling I say go for it.

I agree with Quakken on this one. From what I've seen in the feedback and on the auctions that you can look into, some of these people are buying things and either 1. not reading the entire auction description, or 2 don't have a clue on what they are buying.
For example there was an auction on a P4 2. something or other Ghz processor. Buyer says got it in good condition but when i plugged it in it wasn't HT. Um from what I read it said nothing in the auction about it being HT.
With the rating he does have I would probably buy from him.
my ebay account has negatives from two french people that claimed i haden't sent anything, yet i had signed proof, i sold one french guy a camara to put outside on your front door,
Just happens he lived in a village just down the road from where i was going on holiday in a weeks time, so i went and paid him a visit,
Boy oh boy was he shocked that the seller had travel from another country to check that he had recivied an item!

Classic! I'm picturing scenes from Raging Bull (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081398/). Just replace the "You ****ed my wife" with "You left me negative feedback!"

There was one person that bought a used gamecube game from me, and were "very upset" that it had some minor scratches that just about any used game disc should have. They must have thought that they were buying new, or something.

I hae a feedback rating (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=pcmodhouse&ftab=AllFeedback&sspagename=STRK:ME:UFS) of 1539 and Zero negatives in the past year.

Yeah, negatives happen. I think I got one on my first buy because I didn't leave positive feedback for the seller within a couple days.
They were vindictive about it even...
needles to say my feedback now included an opinion of their treatment of buyers.

They've changed it recently, such that buyers can't receive negs once they have paid.
I've negged some sellers, and a buyer (before the changes), but they didn't retaliate.
I've just checked, out of the 6 negs I've left, 4 are nlaru.

You've been lucky, but you have 444 positives, not 3883.

I will say I didn't retialiate with a negative, I thought about it, but ultimately left a positive with a negative comment.
