im wanting to make a case that uses lots of motors, but i know very very little about wiring them and placement and such. Wheres a good place to learn about them?

im intrested in doing a door that opens on a hinge, would a servo be best for that?

sorry about my inexperiance in this field, and thanks for all the help!

Maybe you should read through my Motorized Madness log first. If you still have questions, just ask.

Sounds like a job for a Linear Actuator.
Looks like this. Here (http://www.firgelliauto.com/) <=-

You would have to attach one of these brackets to the door.

I have no experience with servos other than steering a remote control car
so I can't make any recommendations on that.
