View Full Version : Playing around on XUbuntu

I have recently acquired this laptop (it was in pretty bad shape; the screen falls over after you push it too far) from my little brother. Slapped XUbuntu on it because XP took forever to do anything (partially because it feels the need to screw itself up and make itself slower eventually).

So far, it's running amazingly well. No hiccups, no slowdowns. Partially because it is very light, running the Xfce desktop, and is built for slightly chubbier computers who have a hard time getting their butts off the couch and doing something. Great hardware support.

Imagine Ubuntu with it's clothes off. :eek:

Awesome, dude.

If I get an old crap-uter I'll have to keep Xubuntu in mind.

xUbuntu rly isnt all that bad of a OS... altho i dont use it on a PC... well not your usual PC... celeron 733Mhz 64Mbs ram... does well.. cept i use fluxbox....
