When I go to find a server to play on in counter strike source, The latency is very very high. Yesterday, I fixed this by allowing steam to run through the windows firewall. Today, I have the same issue and disabled windows firewall and comodo, but this did not work. any suggestions?

Does your router have a firewall on it? It might not be the firewall; your ISP could be throttling you. What ISP do you have?

I just ran it, and my latency looks pretty good. Do you still have the cheap speedstream, modem that they gave you when you signed up?

do you have wireless built in and someone downloading off of it?
