I am looking for a song that has been very popular lately. Well I'm not the only one..my best friend is too. The name of the song just happens to be eluding me......

+Rep to who ever finds it first!

Nope....If I did I would have )(sds. but If you could find that too I would love it! (forget the Noob part of the smile) but I know it starts with a very sharp heavy violin you could say.

I <3 Tantic so much.

btw it's not a violin, it's a Chello. But I only know that because I wanted to know what it was exactly.

Hugo's voice is amazing. Also, that song (Down and Out) is about how the rest of the band left him and everybody thought the band was over with but he turned around and salvaged it, and him pretty much telling the rest of his former band members to go screw themselves. ;)

If you like that you may look into music by Apocalyptica.

I have them in my iTunes! I think Night wish has some of those instruments.

The best in Violin + Rock is Emilie Autumn, but she's more Industrial Rock. Sometimes its acoustic violin, but often its electric. She wipes the floor w/ any weak ass guitar players that look her way.

I dig Boyd Tinsley's work, so I'll have to check her out. +rep

we used to have a Cello in our schools musician's club (also had a pretty sick bassist).

I prefer the bagpipes in Dropkick Murphys myself.

i like nightwish, i liiked there previous lead singer more than there current one, i wanted to go and see them live when the old singer was there, but not so much with the new one, still nice though,

I agree, I haven't really sat down and listened to their new CD but from what i have heard, I liked their old stuff better.

Edit: If you like Older Nightwish you might want to look in to either

Leaves Eyes
Epica

Though be warned that while they are similar there are some "Heavier" male vocals wich aren't quite as common in Nightwish stuff.

One of my Favorite songs.

The new singer isn't as horrible as i thought, but by no means as good as Tarja
