Laptop Mod Idea

So awhile back I posted about rebuilding my laptop from scratch. I was working on the basic design when my power adapter to my laptop (the computer I was working on and currently the only one I have) decided to overheat and fry itself. But I did manage to snap off a quick photo with my camera phone before my laptops battery went dead. So I just thought I'd share, even though the picture really isn't that great lol oh well.

The red you see is just something I was using to kind of visualize the empty space. I'm not completely sure, but I think I'm leaning towards a completely clear case using 3/8ths inch plexi. Yea, this sucker is gonna be bullet proof! lol or at least ME proof anyways. ^_^

go for it!! a friend of mine in philly got some old bulletproof plexi from a gas station that was being torn down. The stuff is insanely thick and he built the ultimate picnic table out of it. Nothing like being able to deflect a 12gauge round while eating BBQ.

Its just that it will end up costing around $400usd to finish it completely. I can never seem to keep the money I make is the problem.

But one day hopefully soon perhaps. ^_^

I was thinking of turning it into an ultra thin desktop, since that would only cost around a hundred dollars and then I could buy an Eee for a laptop. Its something to think about at least. But having this tank of a laptop would be soooo cool. :P

You should get one of the atom EeePCs, if you choose to go with it.
