Good-Evening folks,

Well I'm a fan of TheBestCaseScenario, I do check every so often to see the latests mod and soon I will be making my own..

Now my sister has a barbie laptop in which as a small screen, well I ma let the picture do all the talking:

Now this thing has built-in speakers and adapter to power supply or battery..
the funny thing is that the mouse cable is a ethernet cable in which does fit on my router ( it also has 3.5mm sound for headset) I will open it up and take a look in the inside (the screen is only black and white) and very light (duh) but who knows.

now the point of me making a thread is for any comment or ideas for this crazy project :D

so if you have any comment, any helpful information or link please please please let me know..

thank you

I don't know anything about that Barbie laptop, but I would venture to say that whatever work you put into stuffing real laptop parts into that case wouldn't be worth it.

Buy some self adhesive rhinestones, and pimp it out. :D

I second this. It's not what you wanted to hear, but the honest truth is that the amount of work you would have to put into fitting decent hardware in there, isnt worth the say, $300 for a 7" EEEPC. If you have a real laptop for parts, it'll be cheap to do, but still not easy.

It would be cool though..

It looks like it has no real PC parts in it, so just installing an OS would also be a no-go.

Easy way,
Gut and eeeepc and insert into Barbie's case....Pink PC in about several hours :)

I think you should go for it....make it work!

Your best bet is to get one of those EEEPC and modding that to be barbieish.

I mean...you could take the parts out of a working laptop, take the parts out of the barbie laptop and replace...but some serious modding would have to be done for it to work out the way I think you'd want it to...

The good news is that an eeepc or a wind or something of that size would fit with no worries, plus have room to add other hardware, like a USB hdd (hellloooo large capacity!).
