Just finished a new wood project and thought I'd share some pics with the group, get some feedback. It's a display case for a chess set a friend of mine has. He's had it for years but it's been in a box because he didn't have anywhere to show it off, so he asked me to put something together for him. Took way too long to finish but it was educational. Tell me what you think.

Nice work. Display cases are fun to make.

im lovin the inlays and I looked at the whole thing and said I would pay a nice chunk of change for that set but then I learned you only made the case but it rocks.... TALKS FOR EVER>>>>>>

Cheese piece display case... Hmmm, now THERE'S an idea. (already pondering wedge-shaped cutouts in the shelves...)
