I've been looking for some analog gauges for my new build for a while, and just came across this (http://www.xoxide.com/logisys-multifunction-panel-silver.html).

I'm thinking of buying it just to steal the gauges out of it but I can't see how it's powered. There are some excellent closeup pics of the thing here (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Logisys/Panel/2.html).

Obviously there is no simple Molex plug or anything and I am hoping some of the electronics gurus here can give me some idea how difficult it would be to remove these gauges and use them independently. Note that accuracy is not that important as far as exact temp is concerned, I just want to know if I get in a dangerous range, and I will know that by the realtive position of the needle.

Anyone?

In the picture of the rear of the unit it has a floppy power plug a bit to the left of center. It's upright on the board, though, so it's hard to see.

It's possible to do and remove the gauges, you could just get a couple of voltmeters and achieve the same thing really....

Yeah but then I'd have to make my own back plates so they read "temp", and I'd likely pay just as much. :(
