So I was typing a reply to a thread when I smelled something burning. I ignored it, but about 1 minute later my screen dropped out. So I opened R2D2 up and found out that my Radeon 9800XT fan had stopped spinning. I force shut down R2 and took out the Video Card. The fan came off easy.

It looks like the connections in the fan are burnt up.

Since I don't have another fan for the Video card I have to improvise with a 40mm fan.

I'm sure this is actually a good thing. As long as my card wasn't damaged, I'll get a lot better cooling.
