Hi I have been researching electricity for quite sometime and things have finally started to quiet down this summer. I know lots of people here use to use lsdiodes.com before, but I see that they closed. They seemed to be pretty reliable and pretty awesome site. Anyone know of another site similar to them in price, shipping, and most importantly freebies (jk). I googled, but came up empty.

Thanks - Stew

Hi Stew, check the modwiki page under "list of suppliers" and you should find some resources to get you started. This is a Q&A post so I'm moving it over to the Modding Q&A forum.

I, personally have used ledshoppe.com in the past. The prices are fairly cheap, shipping is extremely cheap and fairly fast, though I found the LEDs dimmer than I expected. Overall fairly happy with my 100 red LEDs (more than I'll need for a while).

LSDiodes was awesome. Now, www.ledshoppe.com is pretty good. $7 shipped for a bag of 100 5mm LED's.

I get mine from Nichia. They make amazing LEDs for Princeton Tec lights.

Anyone know a good site for cheap, low volume orders? I'm looking for 8 red SMD LEDs and all I can seem to find is 100 or more. Also shipping to Canada is needed. Thanks a ton!
