A quick list of things that are missing (they're with me at school):
Xbox 360
Second 19" widescreen
Both Canon printers

The beige tower is a FreeNAS project hooked up to a KVM and the speakers on the left are stored since I need the space to mod:)

This is Goliath:

And David, getting modified for the "headless" treatment. The FX5200 PCI was somewhat extraneous given this won't be used with K/V/M.
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b108/t8m4n/DSCN1873.jpg?t=1223184550
And David, in his natural habitat; still doing some configuring with that dinosaur CRT, it takes up more watts than the whole server!

A large portion of the junk in front of the build area needs to go to storage. That's one of my projects for Monday.

EDIT--the LCDs are 22" models. I'm kicking around the idea of getting another one next month.

Zephik

yea... so my desk area consists of a drawer that I pulled out of a broken desk, set on the ground vertically to act as a "mini table" and then I have a laptop placed on top of that with a LCD screen placed on top of the laptop (laptop lcd is broken).

Yup, I'm living it up ghetto style these days. lol

Relatively tidy. (well, it is in the dining room...)

See that Denon on the filing cabinet? Bought it cheap on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180270382720) because it was faulty. Apparently the CD player didn't work.
Got it home, and it's perfect...

That reminds me. .
I have a new desk I bought a few months ago just sitting in the box.
Looks like a good excuse to assemble it. The desk i'm at now its worn to crap.
You can see where my arm has been on the desk and erased the pattern off the laminate,
various etchings, burns, spilled drink stains, dremel debris, water damage,
and areas where I have taken a knive and carved into it.

Kinda procrastinating. Seems like every time I try to clean up in here
stuff ends up all over the place, and looks worse. I would have to unhook everything electronic,
disassemble the old desk and move it out. Then sweep, and vacuum up years worth of crap
I neatly swept under there in the first place. :D

Don't get me wrong. I like to keep things organized on a visual level,
but when it comes to candy wrappers, pens, pencils, cds, and sunflower seeds
I just toss them behind the desk, or sweep them underneath of there. :)

Typical college dorm room desk. Thankfully it fits a 22" monitor and speakers. I keep my computer on the side so its not a pain to get to cables and such. I also have my PS2 hooked up to my monitor through my computer, and I play my cable television through my monitor as well.

That all definitely amounts to a huge space saver in a college dorm, hehe.

Yeah, great game, great engine, not enough substance. I do like the ability to choose the character you have though. I think that it would make a great engine for a cooperative zombie game, like L4D only a bit more serious.

WoWfag could definitely be taken as an insult here.. we are not /b/.

That being said, let me try to translate:

"WoWfan much? Lol, how much did that cost you? I assume they are WotLK."

Definitely a WoW fan.. probably cost a fair bit, yes, those are WotLK boxes, though the large one in the center top, I'm not sure of.

I'm also a WoWfag.. err.. fan.

Basically you can run more than one character at the same time using commands that make the others follow your main character, and macros that make them focus on the same enemy your main is. Then using a hardware multiplexer or software solution it sends the keystrokes you do to each client.

I dual-boxed for a while in a desperate attempt to catch up to my two younger brothers who were already max level and high into raiding and pvp. I banged out 2 Warlocks to 60 followed by 2 Paladins to 60 in less than two weeks, thanks to recruit a friend bonuses. In the end, I enjoyed playing the Paladin but the game just takes too much away from everything else that I need/want to do with my time.

As per the crowded desks:
I just went through and cleaned my big desk as everything was a mess as I had just gotten 2 CRT's, 2 Desktops, and a broken laptop that I fixed up, on top of everything I already had. So it was getting a bit messy. I'll get some pics sometime soon.

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/CollinstheClown/Misc/Room/roomv2/DSCI0016.jpg

In the old pictures the 15" was used for the 360, and the dual 19" were for the PC.
In the new room all three 19" are for the PC and I have a 32" HDTV for the 360.
