It's coming! For those of you who still get presents, what do you want this year? For those of us that do the buying what are you planning on buying and for whom?

Luckily, I don't celebrate it! So no money loss for me!!

24" LCD monitor and/or point and click fit in your pocket digital camera.

Well im looking at $150 cash coming my way from my mom this year. thats 50 more then normal and I am saving up a few hundred for my self to get a nice laptop. This will be my laptop but the family will be using...
I want to get my lil brother a nice MP3 Player but have some searching to do. he lose them in a split second so I dare not pay to much money. My mom well she is getting a bottle of nice perfume and some new dishes/items for the kitchen and a few nice towels.

Oh man, this is the place for me.

Canon G9 digital camera.

$2500 for a computer, which would include some of the following:
28" monitor or 32" 1080p LCD TV to use as a monitor
The Novint Falcon (I want one bad. I would review for you guys)
A bunch of games I've been waiting on that I could just buy.

Parts to build the Couch of BOOM! (essentially a couch with a couple subwoofers and bass shakers)

A new phone and the Jawbone

Waring Pro Belgian Waffle Maker

Otis Spunkmeyer Convection Cookie Oven

Flugel Horn

A bunch of airsoft stuff

Some backpacking gear

A car (anything that runs)

A scooter (50cc supermileage kind)

A couple microphones for a home studio

A couple longboards

Lasik eye surgery.

That is extremely selfish and wishful thinking though. I need a car, and that's really it, and I feel I should pay for that sort of thing myself. If I could give anything, it would be to buy braces for my fiance, since she is insecure about her teeth. It'll have to wait a few years sadly.

I doubt I'll be getting anything because of current circumstances.

I would like some cash to put towards something, such as:

New Motherboard (mine isn't working right and isn't suiting my needs)
Sound Card (with a MIDI in for music)
Various clothing, such as Gore-Tex pants, hiking boots, and whatever else I may need for outdoor activities this winter.
Maybe a new camera.
Anything else that I may need/want.

I want to get my lil brother a nice MP3 Player but have some searching to do. he lose them in a split second so I dare not pay to much money.

Look into what COWON (www.cowonamerica.com) has. They have some really nice ones in the $100+ range... unless you don't want to spend that much, in which case I recommend ebay. ;)

I'm REALLY hoping my parents will be able to pay my back the money I loaned them, so I can buy a car. That would be awesome!

Otherwise I don't expect to get very much from anyone, times are rough all around lately.

I get to keep a decent amount of one of my bimonthly (or biweekly depending how which definition you go by) pay checks though, so hopefully I'll be able to send a few small gifts around here and there this christmas. Maybe some computer window/cable sleeve/lighting kits?

Possibly an HDTV. I'd also like another 22 inch monitor, but that's not really a necessity.

Edit: Didn't see the second question. I'll be buying clothes for my boy and something for the Mrs. as well.

I forgot to answer question 2, lol... I will most likely make stuff for family members as I cannot afford to buy anything. I think they would like home-made stuff better, anyway.

I want (I already have specific ones picked out): processor, gpu, wireless networking card, cathode lights, mobo, 20" monitor, led case feet, HD, dvd/cd drive, psu. Some cash....., I'm not sure what else. I'm just asking for computer parts.

A nice LCD monitor to replace my really old 14" CRT. I'd also like to go to nehalem, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Modding Tools!

Got my dremel last year, and picked up a 1/4 sheet sander on sale a few weeks ago... not sure what to go for next...

Umm my list will probably be some baby stuff, tools, and Wii games.

NOT! (how does he do that with such a straight face?)

I think I have my brother in law sorted. He likes weapons, so:

I'd like to go to nehalem, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I wish Nehalem would come out before Christmas. My parents are giving me money for a new computer, and I would love to have a Nehalem chip in it. I may wait, or I may just go Wolfdale.

The cheapest quad will be $284 each, if you buy a batch of 1000.

Maybe I'll have to upgrade later. That's a lot of dough.

I'd like my sanity back, school is really messing with my head.

Not much I really want, maybe a decent LCD monitor. I like my 19" CRT but need something that takes up less space but is not a crappy 15".

I'm going to Russian on the 28th. That's all the present I could ask for. ;)

EDIT: Assuming they approve my Visa, of course.

Oh boy, now that you've made this thread you can't stop me!

But seriously, there is so much stuff I got on my list (some of it I will probably end up buying for my self though).

-Nikon Coolpix P80 10.1MP Digital Camera
-2GB SD Card
-Far Cry 2
-NFS Undercover
-Grid
-An actual cell-phone (no more of this pre-pay BS)
-30GB+ MP3 player

I'll probably come back and edit this later, but I think thats enough for now...

I got a 4GB SD card for maybe... $12-17 when I bought my mp3 player. It's a Class 6 one, too.

This year I don't care much, all I want is a place to go to get away from this hectic household. A car/new bass/new amp/something along those lines would be nice but in all honesty, I just want somewhere relaxing or fun to go for christmas.

Jon's a very caring chap, and I think would be shocked and appalled if he met me. Figuratively ain't much use in my situation.
