Anybody here have online blogs?
I start and stop blogs but I have decided to stick at it and write one tech related blog entry a week.

It will eventually be completely updated and redesigned, but for now it will do. There's little there that isn't here, but whatever. Later my fiance will use it too to update normal life stuff instead of just my worklogs and tech stuff.

I have another online identity The Irreverent Buddhist (http://www.freedomforall.net/). Been blogging there consistently since since 2003 (though a database loss meant I lost a years writing so the archives start in September 2004).
Subjects covered range from the deeply personal to the thoroughly political - and yes the site doesn't look good at the moment - I'm redesigning.
The top stats for my site were in excess of 1,000 individual visitors in one day, Thursday 7th July 2005, the day of the London bombings when I analysed and correctly discerned the motives behind the attack within the hour (it wasn't difficult - some simple logic sufficed - but as usual the media had their heads stuck up their bums).
Also have a YouTube Channel here (http://www.youtube.com/user/crazybuddhist) where I will increasingly be doing video-blogging (all vids will also be carried on my blog).

I don't blog or read them.
I hear way too much of peoples opinions on a daily basis to seek out more...
I never really get why they have become so popular.

Blogs arent just about peoples opinions they can be a source of rich content and if you want analysis of maybe with an opinion thrown in of something. Blogs are also great sources for information and news on niece markets.
