Sprint, Verizon, etc - Bay Station

I know you can get a bay station if you have a wireless card for a laptop, so that the wireless can be used for your desktop too. Could you plug the bay station into a router and let all PC's on the network use it?

I have a PCMCIA - PCI card in my computer. A lot of people buy them for wireless internet cards, although I've never used mine for that. They have the PCI cards on ebay.
