There are so many networking cards out there and their price range is from $20 - $100. How do I decide which one I need? I just want to be able to do some simple wireless networking. How are the cards different? I know the MBps, but I am fine with 54MBps. So, will a $20 or $30 card be sufficient?
I know another factor is range, but I don't need much, just enough to connect through about 20 feet.

If you're going to be running anything other than xp 32 bit or earlier, or even if you are, I would strongly reccommend that you don't get a wireless card with a marvell chip, due to lack of driver support. I have a card with a realtek chip. If you are giong to just be using it for internet, or you don't have a wireless n router, just go with the "G" 54 mbits/sec.
