I don't have a lot of money, I am limited to a budget, big time.
But, I want to be able to play some games. Like counterstrike maybe.
Nothing 3D.

Will this video card be enough to do what I want it to?

I will save up over time and upgrade parts to my computer and when I get $150, I'll get this one instead.

But until then, I can't afford it.

For CSS, that should be fine.

Thanks, do you think it could handle some other games like, WoW, or maybe crisis, or half-life?

You know that x1650 is several generations old, right?

For around $80 you can get a 4670 from over at NewEgg. Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161252 (though it's one of the more expensive 4670s out there). You can get a 4650 for $70. The 4670 can play Crysis at some descent settings. I really can not recommend getting the x1650 since the 4670 is roughly 3 times more powerful for about $30 more than that x1650.

Also, you can get a 4850 for the same price as that 3870 after rebate on NewEgg ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102770 ).

Any of these cards will play WoW and Half-Life (any game in the Orange Box for that matter) just fine.

If you are on a strict sub $60 budget (and want an ATI card), grab a 3650 from NewEgg ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000048&Description=3650&bop=And&Order=PRICE ) instead of a x1650 it is roughly twice the performance (synthetic benchmark wise). With some you can get a $20 rebate bringing the cost to under $35.
