Hello, I've been getting this strange error message whenever my update manager in xubuntu tries to update my software.

I think the problem is that it can't find one of the repositories that it's looking for. Is there any way i can make it stop looking for this repository?

I hope that makes sense, I barely understand this stuff so I'm not entirely sure i can explain it well.

Thanks guys.

Edit: If i can get it to pop up again, ill report back w/ exactly what the error says.

"Could not download all repository indexes

The repository may no longer be available or could not be contacted because of network problems. If available an older version of the failed index will be used. Otherwise the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection and ensure the repository address in the preferences is correct.

under system there should be a respotory sources/manager (Or similar) and remove the repo that keeps failing, or more to the point upgrade to xubuntu 8.10

ok, thanks, Ill try that when i get home. I think the problem was that i added a couple of repositories when trying to install stuff, I figure one of them just probably isn't online anymore. I don't remember at all how i added them and have no clue how to remove it lol. Ill also consider the upgrade when i get home sometime next week. I just heard about it yesterday.
