Well I was able to take just enough time off of work to get my annual Halloween Decorations setup. Got a lot of good responses this year. Even a few neighbors want to join in next year, but I will believe it when I see it.

Early in the evening it was still nice and warm so the fog chillers did a great job of keeping the fog nice and low to the ground. My camera sucks in low light conditions, but you get the jist.

THAT IS AWESOME!
How long did it take you to get a setup like that? I would imagine you must of been collecting bits and pieces here and there for a couple of years now to get such an impressive hallows eve display!
We don't get anyone around here that goes that all out for halloween, but we have a few people who go insane on christmas decorations. All in all, I would rather see the reverse. I love xmas, but halloween is just so much cooler looking when done right! :p

One of those pumpkins is obviously plastic, but the rest are real ones that I carved myself. There was also an inflatable thing in front of the house and a black light in the porch light.

Wow, man, that's really somethin'. I think that's the most impressive Halloween display I've seen - the only house around here that came close was sold a few years ago. Sooooo much cooler than Santa and wire reindeer. +rep

Thanks guys! Its been a work in progress for about 15 years now. It all started with a few tombstones and some lights. It takes about 3 leisurely days to set it up, but this year I only got 2 so I was down to the wire Friday night. I try to add something every year, and this year was the spider crank. Its all worth it when the trick or treaters come! They love it! We get them by the car load from all over. Which means we start buying candy in July. In fact, now some of the kids that came when we started are bringing their kids, so that is pretty cool. The hard part is packing it all up so that it doesn't over run my workshop. I noticed that some of the older props are starting to deteriorate, so I am going to have to get started with some new ones to replace them.
Also we have a party every year so the inside is decorated as well :D
The wife is in charge of the inside and she does a pretty damn good job as well! Its hard to photograph because we use all colored bulbs, but here are a few of the inside, and the flash just doesn't do it justice.
The bathroom... found some from a couple of years ago.

Thanks again for all the great comments, I am glad you all enjoy it as much as I do!
And next year if any of you are in the area, feel free to drop by and stay for the party!

Actually we do. I like to stand across the street and watch the trick or treaters reactions, and we had several small younger groups to chicken too go up to the door. :D
