sooo.... this is my first attempt at a worklog so bare with me on this one. Im basically going to let the pics talk for themselfs as i dont really have any plans and am just winging it. :devious: I started out with an ultra aluminus, decided that i wanted to turn it into a small pc :) I have already started this and never took pics as i was doing it but theres still a ton more to do.

I posted this case a long long time ago, here are some pics from then, sorry they are not the best but they are the only ones I have left.

Here is a pic of the right side pannel...

and with some lighting...

This is what it looks like after I choped it down 7.25"
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/drag_n_drop/DSCI0146.jpg

I started working on the front pannel... not sure if I like the proportion of the door though ohh well I think I have had enough modding for one night...

Thanks for looking :) more updates to come.

With the case shortened where do you plan on putting the power supply? In the front routed to the back is all i can see.

yep the psu will be in the bottom couple of 5.25" bays and wired out the back.

I realy like the chopped case. You know I have helped chop the top of an old chevy truck but never thought of doing it to a case. +rep for good work and being creative.

This is the progress that I have made this morning on the top panel with the evga logo.
before...

after..
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/drag_n_drop/DSCI0146-1.jpg

I'm quite glad how this came out. But I have ran into a small problem, the masking tape that i used to draw the evga logo has decided that it does not want to come off anymore :P. This is probably because it has been on there for quite some time so i guess that im going to have to sand this off, unless anyone has an easier way that they can share. Thanks for looking.

Hey. nice job on the evga cutout. love how you finally finished it after a year.

Also the part he forgot to tell you is last night while drilling the 120 mm holes .,. the drill started to smoke :D it was so cool ....

Use goo gone .. or accetone :P works super well and for most permenent marker use wd40 or floor stripper .. :D works super super well

LoL.. so when are you going to fix that side panel.. ( My suggestion for getting it strait, STOP HITTING IT WITH THE HAMMER ) :D looks good I cant wait till the thing is done and the Water cooling is installed. you gonna use your good stuff and then mod the cosmos or keep cosmos as your main
