Ok as the name may suggest this will most likely result in a non working motherboard after this mod... But thankfully for us it started out as a non working mobo.. and who would care about an old amd t bird or barton anywho.

I've had five Socket A systems, and loved 'em all (most of the time). My mother used one of my spare machines, a 1 GHz Thunderbird, until the motherboard went a couple weeks ago. Hell, up until about ten months ago, I used one of those Socket As - an XP-LV Barton 2600+ at 11x200 (2.2/3200+) - daily.

Don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em. Even today, they're great for anything that doesn't require multiple cores (though there are dual-CPU boards), PCI-Express video, or SSE2. Older games? Sure. Office work? Definitely. HTPC duty? You bet. Want a server? They're great.

Perhaps a better question would be "who wouldn't care about a Socket A system?" People with more money than brains, that's who.

On a lighter note, that's a rather cute worm.

Thanks i like my worm too :D.

You know what .. I just get way too frustrated with single core things in these days :( its so annoying having to be patient with them.

To think of the dust put out by that mobo when you cut it.

That silicon dust is some nasty stuff.

I dont know .. lol it tasted pretty good :D... the funny part is my buddy who cut it
(Drag.n.drop) he does all his cuts without any protection other then pulling his hood down a bit if he is wearing a hoody. It scares me.. but it cant be that bad, because we are still living.

Me too, but I really should wear safety glasses or something when I cut wood or plastic.

I think photobucket deletes them if you haven't logged in for a while. Try imageshack or bayimg.
