I'm having issues getting my wife's laptop. It's got Vista on it and the two desktops have XP. I've set up a wireless network from one of the desktops to the laptop so she can print and scan from it. I can get the laptop to show the printer and print but while the printer is installed Photoshop will not open a document. It freezes. I've tried it on multiple accounts with the same results. I've tried un-installing and re-installing Photoshop with the same results. I'm totally lost as to why it's doing this. If you un-install the printer, Photoshop works perfectly. :?

Anybody got any ideas?

What photoshop version? Are you using the latest printer drivers?

Photoshop CS3. I'm using the latest printer driver. Photoshop has all the updates. The printer and Photoshop work fine on both XP machines and both the printer and Photoshop are Vista compatible.

Are you using the Postscript (PS) driver for the printer, or the PCL driver? Try using the alternate one to see if that works.

Finally got a chance to try both drivers and no luck.
