i got a brand new evga 780i mobo, it worked for a bout 7 hours then when i went to put in a new hard drive it wouldnt turn on gave me a post code of 20 i restarted it and it gave me a post code of AO, anybody help. does not get to bios, monitor reads no signal

hmm i would strip it down to one stick of ram and basics. if that doesnt work give tech support a call

It could just be the break-in phase. Electronics either break within a few hours or a few years.

ummmmmmm..it started up today but right now each core is reading 48C and the northbridge is HOT to the touch, waterblock is in place PLEASE HELP

nope no overclocks, nvidia monitor reads 210

ummm...not sure its true, i dont trust nvidia monitor that much, my case sensor is reading 27, so

Have you tried resetting the bios yet? Try something like speedfan (http://almico.com) to get the temps.

He's right. Just pull out the CMOS pin and put it into the other position, then put it back. It should reset the BIOS configuration. If not, then it sounds like you have either a RAM problem or a power supply cable issue. Everything plugged in, including the little 12 volt 4-pin piece?

Read the manual and find out what thoes post codes mean..
