Just thought I'd throw this up, this is from last winter. My friend and I decided to cut 4" off the back of my hull and another 1.5" in length off my handlepole, and about 1/4" in height off it as well. Lots of time, lots of fiberglass, lots of resin, lots of headaches :D

Enjoy

pics are now here, (http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l11/sportrider12584/jet%20ski%20mods/?albumview=slideshow) more to come

That's pretty cool man. I can't wait til I'm able to get a Jet Ski or Sea-doo and go out on a lake nearby. I've got a few friends who practice their wake boarding skills behind a powerful PWC they own and they let me drive it one day. Such a sick experience.

They then convinced me to go tubing behind it while one of them drove... Ever seen a guy ride a tube about 10 feet in the air, land, and then do about 3 cartwheels across the top of the water before landing on his face?

yea its so much fun, good workout too.

the sit-down ones are boring though, get a stand-up  when you're in the market head over to X-H2O (http://www.x-h2o.com) and check the for sale section, you might be able to score somethin nice :D

are you in the US?

Yep, Georgia, so I've got plenty of lakes I can take it out on, and a short (ok, 8 hour) drive to the Gulf for vacation.

I'll probably build my own high powered hovercraft before I buy a jet ski though. Girlfriend appreciates hovercraft as a hobby, albeit an expensive one. If I told her I'm buying a jet ski she'd probably ask why I wasn't taking her on a vacation/buying her a ring first, haha.

then you get into modding yours like I did and the wife will leave it be and eventually accept it as is lol

plus she has a ring and I had the jet ski before I knew her 8)
