My friend just gave me his dremel set that he wasn't using, here it is on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-1130-01-Screwdriver-Stylus-Combo/dp/B000VKSVFK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top).
Is that Dremel Stylus going to be able to cut through 1-2mm thick steel (which a proper cutting wheel)?
Thanks,
Indybird

It's going to take a bit to cut through that steel, it will do it but not fast.
I've got one of those stylist I love it, but for big cutting jobs I get out the Sears Roto zip knock off....much faster.
As for cutting blades, you want to get the fiber glass cut off wheels (either the ez mount or the regular mount) As they give you the best cut and last the longest.
And ALWAYS, ALWAYS!!! wear your saftey glasses, if those wheels break they can be very dangerous! and your eyes don't grow back!!!
Good Luck!

Thanks, I guess that'll do considering I don't really have an alternative. As long as it does cut...
One more question though: Is there such thing as a mini (or at least smaller) Jig-Saw?
I'm looking for something with a smaller body that possibly uses smallere blades than a standard sized Jig-Saw.
Thanks,
