Wow! That's hilarious. I was trying to sell a snowmobile online and I got a bunch of e-mails like that. I got fed up with them and told them I'd sell a 70s, all torn apart, not all the pieces there snowmobile for 10,000 and here was my address for the check. To my surprise they sent me one. I told them I didn't receive it. They then sent me another follow by many threatening e-mails to kill me if I didn't get back to them and send them their money back. Both checks were for 15,000. I burnt them. They thought UPS would ship an entire snowmobile. Anyways, +rep for the laughs.

I've bookmarked a couple of threads to read tomorrow. It's funny but it's sad too. Europe ripped Africa off for centuries and then left it in a rotten state deliberately.

The west is still taking most of Africa's wealth. This is why people are reduced to such appalling attempts to make money. Nigeria is so corrupt. Every government offical and policeman wanting bribes and THAT is what the people see and learn from ... Easy money. This is not some form of racism or prejudice on my part - it's direct from the mouth of my Nigerian friends.

So funny as hell, yes, but sad too. A country with Nigeria's oil wealth will only produce activity such as this at the bottom of the pecking order if it's like that all the way up ....

I read this 3 years ago and was crying so hard from laughter it was impossible to hide it from my coworkers. A buddy of mine had emailed it to me, and I could not stop reading it!! It still makes me laugh just as hard today as it did then!

BTW.. Check post 951 on page 39 ;)
