Multiple stereo inputs?

Im getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102002 sound card from a friend, and would like to be able to record stuff on it. I want to record four channels at once, so I'd use two stereo inputs. Since this card has a line-in and an aux-in, it has two stereo inputs.

My question is Can I record off of both of these inputs independently?
I want record four mono tracks at once in Sonar 7.

Hmm.. that's a good question. I think that your best bet would be to just try it and see if it works. I dont think you can though. what you *could* do is run all 4 channels into an external mixer, and mix it down to 2 channels that you would input to the computer.

The downside of course is that you are left with only 2 channels, so if you want to pull out one of the 4, you cant.
