Have any of you guys heard of JBud? Are they well known at all? How is the quality control on their products?

I've been looking around for a good set of Premium Canal Earphones, but have no desire to "break-the-bank". Currently, the JBud J2's are on a fantastic sale at Amazon.com. I was thinking about getting THESE (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GS8FZM/sr=1-11/qid=1226814650/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226814650&sr=1-11) ones, but wanted to make sure they aren't just some "want-to-be" premium brand in sheep clothing.

I'm not an audiophile or anything, but I can usually tell the difference between a good pair of headphones and a not-so-great pair (like my current ones, which were 12 dollars, compared to say something like the Zune V2 premiums). So if they aren't all that great, I'd rather just keep the ones I have since it would probably be a waste of money.

How about those color options though? Pretty sexy stuff if you ask me! The SECOND I saw the electric blue pair, I just knew I wanted them! :p

"Please allow 4 to 7 weeks for delivery"

Yea, nevermind. I'm not waiting THAT long for a pair of earbuds. Anyone got any recommendations? They need to be canal, in-ear style is the only style allowed where I work and I only like canal, the regular kind hurt my ears.

So if you have any recommendations, I'm all ears! ...god that sounded so much funnier in my head. lol

I would recommend either VModa Vibes or any pair of Sennheiser in-ear headphones. Great noise cancellation, clear bass, mids, and highs. Just avoid Bose. It's crap. I had a pair of their in-ear headphones, and they had inflated bass and muddy highs.

The best value for in-ears were a pair of Koss buds for me. They sounded pretty good for the price.

I have a pair of these, and they are awesome.

1-2 weeks for shipping from Dell, $19.99

I highly recommend these. Great sound, amazing isolation, and very comfortable. :)

Ha, yea, the only good product from Bose is their 3-2-1 systems, which are only nice if you A. Have the money and B. Need 2.1 to act like 5.1. Even then, meh.

I was actually looking at those earlier, they seem to be fairly well recommended all across the boards. It was either those, the EP-830 or the black J2's. But then I started talking to a friend who just picked up a pair of over-ear headphones from Skullcandy, so I went browsing through their amazon collection and eventually decided on these...

They seem pretty good from what I read in the reviews, and they are pretty unique looking too which is kind of cool.

Have you guys ever heard of Skullcandy before? Are they any good?

Heard of Skullcandy. They seem to be of a bit lesser construction... I like their studio monitors though

Skullcandy is a very good brand, and I was going to recommend them first, but at $19.99, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat those Dell ones.

I've seen them as a different brand before too. Funny how that works sometimes, I guess Creative and Dell bought the rights to them or something?

Anyways, I think I'm going to splurge a little bit, there is just something about those skullcandy that makes me want them. Maybe its the red, or the metal, or the weird design. or maybe its just the whole package? They just seem "cool". Hell, thats why I paid $340 for a $200 monitor. I'm a sucker for anything made of metal and for anything that looks out of the ordinary. :p

Only complaint is that on the skullcandy website the red ones have a "metal" cord, where-as these ones have a plastic one from the looks of it. But they're $20 cheaper than from their homepage and with free shipping, so I ain't complaining all that much. lol

I have a pair of Behringer studio monitor headphones, and I love them. They are the huge over the ear style with the big over the top strap. Big, heavy, clumsy, but they sound amazing.

But yeah. Zephik, it depends on what you want. High fidelity, or low cost. Just don't buy into that whole expensive-because-it-is type deal.

I went shopping today and ended up spending more than I thought, so I decided to opt for a cheaper option.

http://www.amazon.com/JBuds-Premium-Hi-FI-Isolating-Earbuds/dp/B001GS8FZ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226993870&sr=1-1

They look amazing and have decent reviews. Best part... no 4-7 week delivery! Actually, I signed up for a free month of AmazonPrime so they will be here thursday! Yay for free 2 day shipping!

I'll let you guys know what I think of them when they arrive.

(I also cheaped out on my mp3/mp4 player. I got the cheapest one I could find that was worth spending money on, the 2GB Creative Zen. >< so small, but at least it has expandable memory)
