Kandalf lcs MOD

OK so I have been modding my Kandalf lcs case for a bit now and I figured I would post pictures of what i have done.

BUT the first thing I am going to do is post a pic of my Liquid cooling setup to see what you guys think.. I like it .. gives eye candy IMHO.. :D its sexy

OK so you can see my hardware in my specs. The liquid cooling parts are

D-tek fuzion v2 with quad core nozzle
Ek s-max northbridge
Ek Nb/Sb 4 southbridge
Feser exchanger 360 rad
Xspc 500 mm aluminum passive resiour
The feser company tubes clear and uv purple coolant.. Green uv antikink coils
Swiftech mcp 355 pump
Koolance flow meter .. the sexy new one.
Koolance drain valve ... also kinda sexy :P

so what i did was make the extra space at the bottom of my pc look a bit better with some cooling parts .. mind you its not done and its nowhere near pretty yet but it will be soon..

the pump is not going there in that pic its just kinda hanging out at the top.. :D anywho .. tell me what you think of my attempt to make lots of empty space look a bit cooler while performing a valuble function.. (see flow meter) :D

It was really thick steel but i managed to cut the holes with only 3 cutting disks :D i am getting pretty good with my dremel .. but it got killed so i need a new one .. maybe a real dremel this time

@SXRguyinMA.. I am going to sell it. I also have a minor dented black ice extreme 3 rad for sale :D.. So I put it all togeather last night,. the system works great one minor leak by the koolance drain valve . fixed with some screwdriving of the plug on top.
It keeps my quad core extreme qx6850 cool at 24 degrees under load .. over clocked to 3.6 :D best cooling ever.. for me at least

mounted my res to the wall and the pump is mounted on the back of the case.. i am currently trying to devise a way to make a quick disconect for the res to get it away from the wall when i want to move the case.. :D any ideaS :P thanks

I looked at that case when it first came out a few years ago and very nearly brought one. The price was insane thought lol $350AUD without the built in liquid cooling system lol. I will be watching this.

so i fixed the first images.. now i know i have kind of done this log a wee bit backwards but it will work itself out soon.. I got my rig working with the new liquid cooling.
I still have to finalize the look and make it pretty but overall i am stoked with the layout.
I do have one question . I have a swiftech mcp 355 and it makes a funny noise that sounds like tiny lightning bolts( or like marbles or bearings rolling around) inside the pump is this normal or should i be sending it back adn getting a new one?

It just sounds like air in the pump to me. How long have you had it connected? My pump took about 48 hours to calm down cos it managed to trap tiny air bubbles inside it.

thnx for the quick reply.. its been attached for a few days now and not really left on.. so :) i think you may be right..

Also i wanted to say i bought mine about 4 months back. i payed 100 bucks for the case on ebay brand new , and free shipping .. :) so i was happy :D yay .

. also .. later i am going to post some pics of the original new rad i got that was damaged on delivery and i ended up yelling at teh peeps at the store and getting a feser 360 for 89 bucks :P plus the broken one free. :)

ya i know its an easy fix but the folks at the place i got it were more then happy to make it right for me i got a feser 360 exchanger for 39.99 plus the 54.99 i payed ffor the black ice rad .. plus i got the black ice rad for free.. :P so it was so worth taking some pics and complaining

i got them from direct canada ..

i guess there is not much to update except my vid card is running hot,, been busy with college and work but will try to update soon.. got some acrylic ,, gonna try some new ideas.. hope to update soon
