Hello all. I have an idea for a mod I would love to try once I get the few extra bucks to attempt. Basically, I would try and make it resemble a C130.

The front panel switches for power, reset, load meters would all look like the overhead panel. Including a green light for pwer is ready to be applied to system.(see picture at bottom) I don't for see this being a hard problem for myself to do being a C130 Technician. Just a money issue as most of the trends in this forum.

Also the inside wiring would all be tied up and mounted the same as they would in the aircraft. Wax string, c-clamps and maybe a few splices to make it more realistic.

Only thing I can't rally seem to find is a good case to start with. I may have to break down and buy one.

I started my last mod based on case parts I found on the side of the road during the 'bulk item disposal' being run in the P.M.Q.'s. Although, aluminum would be the way to go with this. There's always metal bins to go dumpster diving in ;)

Ah the PMQ's, I'm glad I finally got out of those and got our first house this summer. Although I gotta wait till garbag day (sripng time). I suppose I can see my ACS friends have any spare aluminum thatr they can not longer use for the aircraft.
