Nice computer ...

I am a poor modder so I only have dual 6600's and a 3500+
;)

Is your plans to get a 2nd 7800gt down the road?

Well, my parts arrived. I set it all up and turned it on... nothing. The vidoe card isn't posting. Have tried multiple things, moving RAM around, moving card around, plugging in cords that weren't before. Yeah I tried a lot, so I think I will just return it to the manufacturer(Evga). Maybe it is the mobo but I don't think so. All of the lights turn opn when they are supposed to including the Ezplug light. All the fans turn on and it seems like it is all working.

i got the same problem when i first set up my new system, but i did some test with mates pc and i found out that it was the mobo. so i sent it back got a new one and im all up and running, if u have a friend who u could stick your gfxcard in his/her pc and see if they get a picture, and stick his/hers in yours thats a good way to see if it is mobo or gfx card.

Hopefully that was some help, i felt well gutted when the same thing happened to me my first build and it didnt work, but now it does so :D

Hope you sort your problem out.

Well I just realized one of my friends has a PCI card that could work. So I went over to his house and stuck in the card and nothing happened. So I am having a friend come over that has a Asus A8n-SLI but no video card yet. I am going to stick my card in there. Right now though I am pretty sure it is the mobo.

make sure you dont have any USB devices plugged in--like mouse or keyboard--that will prevent posting on some moboards.

I am taking you done the bare min post test.

CPU & Ram and see if you get the beeps??
also make sure you have a newer version of the SLI_delux board (Chip set fan was crap on the 1st couple runs).

I just ordered the board so I believe I have the newest version. Also I have not done the bare min yet but I am getting no beeps anyways. I do have my mouse plugged in when I start up though... maybe I will try unplugging everything except the power nad moniter cable when I get home.

Thanks for all the help. I will try some of the stuff you guys suggested and if that doesn't work then I will sned it back to ASUS to get a new one.
