Goodness gracious. I just saw this, and my first thought was "4 4870 X2's."
That would give this a total theoretical power, just from the GPUs, of about 9.6 TFLOPS?

...Of course if you do this, it covers the floppy drive connector.

I have wanted one of those for the longest time; of course my goal was a bit more feasible..
(I wanted to use four 3650s)

Originally when it came out it wouldnt support the 140watt CPUs, and I wasent too excited by the 4 pin CPU power plug.

But the thought of seeing 4 GPUs was pretty sweet.

What? blocked floppy, the deals off:banana:

Hey! I've got one of these!! Just got it a couple of weeks ago in fact. Too bad all I have is an 8800GT. I will rectify that in the future, have no doubt.

You cant do four ati X2 cards. ATI only supports quad-fire, so two X2's at most.

Its a nvidia chipset so you'll only get 1 ATI card to work on it, or up to four 9800X2's.

You may very well be right on the X2 cards, I don't know, but this board has an AMD 790FX chipset.

They say quad-crossfire, but you can make a work-around to any driver issues that may come up. Simple tweaks allowed someone to push Octo-SLI in this thread. Link (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7657&highlight=octo+SLI)
It is also one of the beauties of HT 3.0. It's easy to fix these things.
