I saw this build a few years ago, a project called Black Narcissus.

Prepare for a SERIOUSLY long build log.. but definitely worth the end result.

It was actually an NES mod on a website that is no longer online. A year or two after finding that, I was doing a google search, and found the worklog for, I think one of D_Stilgar's mods.
