I love how it looks, it has got to be one of the best looking laptops ever.
The price tag is a lot higher, but, if it had an apple logo on it, no one would complain :D.
It's so thin it cant support an ethernet port, but does offer a unique solution.
I like how they did a better job than Apple :D

I saw these about mid year. They are HOT and I want one lol...but not the price haha. You may notice it doesn't have an Ethernet port on the notebook itself. The Ethernet port is attached to the charging block. The block sends the notebook a wireless signal when the cable is attached. So basically you need to be on charge to access the internet/network = FAIL.

I like the Asus S101, cause it's 2.1 cm thick and it's 700 bucks.

It does have built in WIFI, so you dont need to be charging to get network access. :)

Yeah I worked that out after I posted, they weren't real specific on the use of the wireless N adapter.

You're a horrible person. I just wanted to let you know that. lol
I've been searching around for laptops for a little while now, because come January I won't have any kind of computer at all. The main problem I've been having is trying to find a good looking laptop without spending too much, which is why I decided on the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook. It's pretty good looking, its cheap and its fairly thin. I've looked at everything else and I just wasn't happy with what I was looking at, so the Mini 9 was pretty much perfect. But now you introduce that to me. Good god that is a sexy looking netbook! The lines are great, its very thin, its fairly flush looking all around, it has a longer lasting battery (although I don't know how accurate Eee specs are?), a slightly larger screen, and its wireless n capable.
But, its also around $200 more than the Mini 9...
So now the question is; Do I want to spend that much on a netbook? My answer? I HAVE NO IDEA BECAUSE I CAN'T DECIDE. lol
Just when I thought I had it all thought out and decided on, you do this to me. sigh...

Nope, can't do it because won't do it. I want it, but I can get an Inspiron 1525 with 2Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD and quite a bit better integrated graphics. All for $30 cheaper too.
Also, in the end, I think I'd rather get on the Dell Preferred Account rather than the Newegg Preferred Account.
You know, I really hate my brain sometimes. It never lets me have the things I want. lol
Man that is a sexy looking Eee though. D'Arvit. (I can't believe I just said that without even thinking about it. lol)

They came out about a month back. Pretty neat-looking. Running an older Asus EeePC 701 with a 4 gig SSD right now :]. It's held up after one full year of use and abuse for it's original price of 399.99 (now they're 249.99, lol).
