I was watching the thanksgiving day parade on tv this year and I must say my hat is off to you Rick Astley. He has done the ultimate..He rickrolled the world.

I laughed till I hurt and my wife was all life WTF?! She happened to be on her laptop and I sent the dreaded link to her. After she cussed me for doing that I explained what it was all about. She then started laughing to becasue she finally understood it. So in closing....congratulations Mr. Rick Astley this will live on for many generations.

LOL YES! I was on my grandpa's laptop and then I hear Rick Astley singing on TV and couldn't help but laugh. I explained rickrolling to my mom and she thought it was funny, too.

Cartoon Network and Rick Astley rickrolling America? Hands down the most awesome thing this year. Just awesome is the confused look on so many people's faces.

I never really understood what funny about "rickrolling" seeing i'm deaf. wonder if somebody care to explain to me? I've heard that it had something to do with the lyric or something like that?

Not to base things on race but, basically everyone thought that Rick was a big black guy due to the deep sound of his voice in the song. Then when the video came out everyone saw that he was a scrawny little white kid.

So when someone rickroll's you, basically your thinking its going to be one thing, then BAM!!, off to Rick's video. Its a whole you think your getting one thing but get stuck with something not as satisfying.


And I was Rickrolled by this topic for thinking that somehow the title was referring to me. I mean deep down I knew it wasn't, but there was just that bit of hope that went, "hey, someone post a topic about me??? WTH? Woot!", but alas, no.
