I don't appreciate samsung's glossy surface so much. If you want something cheap, get this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009145&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-). I'm going to have mine by Wednesday, so I can tell you how I like it.

i don't like the samsung's glossy finish either. This isnt a samsung, idk if u were just telling me that, srry for the confusion.

i should of mentioned i use the pc for mostly gaming and playing movies.

The one I got probably isn't the best for gaming, due to it's 5ms response time. If you don't mind spending the money, the one that you selected is probably a good choice.

one of my gaming pals has one of those 22" LG's, and I have an older 19" one. We both rate them pretty highly tbh, nice crisp picture and good response and no ghosting. having said that, I dont know a great deal about monitors in general, but more than happy with the upgrade i got (got it for christmas last year :D) and he has had no complaints at all.
