There is no solution. Any board with an even number of squares will require you to leave one of the blocks out. Try to solve with a 4x4 block or a 2x2. This one is 8x8.

Well I figured it out, I didn't realize the scenario was needed to solve the riddle, but it is. Basically your a prisoner and your trying to get to "d" the door. On every space there is a guard. Some how you escaped and killed every guard. How did you did it? Also, you can't go back to where you killed a guard. So basically you kill the guard to the right of you and then go back into your cell, and do the rest of it, and it works.


I just told you the answer.

And I didn't know myself until yesterday, but above is the right answer and the only one.

HUH? You said that you could only go into each box once. so how do you go back? I'm still confused, perhaps a drawing would be helpful for some of us.

We all worked under the assumption that you could not return to the "p" square. If you can not leave the board or return to "p," there's no solution.
