Maybe its because i used myspace b4 everyone jumped on the facebook, but i can't stand facebook. I hate everything about it, I hate the conformity, i hate the smugness, i hate the applications, I hate the way it probes your life and tells everybody else on facebook EVERYTHING about you... but hey i guess thats the stuff everyone else signs up for.

I love that like, people who use it often cite it as being "cleaner" than myspace because of the uniformity, but then they clutter it up w/ junk applications and nonsense making it look less aesthetically pleasing than a well done myspace layout.

all in all i don't really pay attention to social networking sights.

I have a Facebook. I don't use it much, I refuse to run most of the applications, I think half of the people on it are douchebags...

...but half of Myspace users are douchebags, too, and I've never run into a Facebook site that blared ICP at me as soon as the page loaded.

So there's that.

I concur that blaring music is quite annoying. I can't manage to convince my GF that actually hiding the music player so it CAN'T be turned off... is a horrible thing to do. She just gets mad whenever i bring it up. Oh well.

I don't have a facebook. Never will, never want one. All my friends want me to make one. One of my friends even tried to make one for me. Honestly I don't want my email jam packed with emails telling me everything that happens(I think that's how it works,right?)

You can turn all of the emails off if you want, but that's pretty much it.

I have a myspace, only for the simple reason that its easier to keep in touch with friends, I have some that live on the other side of the country, and its easier to get ahold of them through myspace fo quick matters
