Something about buying a TV over the net still doesn't sit right with me

I hear ya. Hell, just taking a quick glance at the TV walls at any electronic store will show you how much they differ picture quality wise. I suppose if you could find the exact model on display at a local shop it would be a good deal though.

I dont mind buying off the net that much, but one thing you should be aware of .. All the Vizio's are REFURBISHED. Not that there is a problem with that, Walmart has the 32" brand new for $457, and they don't show it on the site at the moment, the 37" was $597. Still if your looking for an LCD TV these are still decent deals.
Has any one had any experience with the brand Viore?
Walmart has this 37" http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10749703 for $518.

Ive never had a viore, and we dont carry it at my store. I believe it is a site to store item only.
I have however owned a vizio 32" for nearly 2 years now, I have really nothing but good things to say about it. The only problem I find with vizio is that it is a throw away tv, as repair shops can't get parts for it. The first year of the warranty is very good, but anything after that year you might as well throw it away and buy a new one. Knock on wood but so far so good with this vizio I have. Vizio the company seems to be like Rockford Fosgate so many years ago. You'd only see thier stuff at swap meets and flea markets for real cheap. Then people realized how good of a brand they were and they exploded on to the market. Best part about vizio is that the TV's are made here at home(the states). Ok enough of my impromptu review, have a great day.

I have a 37" 720p toshiba, and the picture is great. It's comparable to the Sonys. I think it's been two years now. I have an old 26" tube TV in my room that is about as old as me. We got the new one, because the tuner died in the old one after being struck by lightning for the second time.
