Makin Lemonaid from a lemon

recently i posted about my motherboard likin to freeze in just windows.. but run smooth and fine in linux... so i decided to make the best of it...

not a bad setup i do say so myself... altho gettin emerald to work properly was difficult..
im still workin out a few kinks in WINE but heh its good

I run kubuntu with KDE4 on my laptop, it's slick as hell. Still run WinXP on the desktops, but that's cause I play so many games and don't want to WINE them. =/

Looks slick, though. What desktop environment you running?

gnome.. with compiz Fusion and emerald as my theme manager
its not too bad to setup... but be ready to have some decent horsepower to run it..
more so than you would need for aero.. but then again... you can do a hell of alot more than aero ever could :)
