Hello all i have had an interesting week lol , I found outi will be getting 40 hrs untill after we come back at first of year we get one vaction week during christmas .
My boss said they were worried about after the first of the year arent we all.
I was working on Man cave 2.0 at night after work i would go in at 6:30 am
get off at 5:00 pm go eat supper with the wife get out side about 6:00pm
work till 11:00 pm and start all over the next day well i have carpal tunnel syndrome from my years of wookwork.
I can usually kind of work through or just take a few breaks and get by well after working like that for three days and nights i woke up thursday for work which is my last day of the week and i had no feeling what so ever in my hands total numbness i couldnt even turn the alarm clock off .When i got up and moving around i got some feeling back
in my hands .
Well i couldnt miss work not now espically so i went to work the
first thing i had to do is some sanding with the orbital sander which is like the worst thing i could have done .
I had like totally awful pain shotting fro my hands to my elbows now dont get me wrong im no tough guy but i ma not a wus eithier lol .
I didnt tell anybody because around here if you tell them you cant do a certain thing they find someone who can .
Well i made it through the day a guy i weork with told me about a shot i can get in my wrists that a Orthopedic Surgeon gives you why a Orthopedic Surgeon i have no idea it is like $50 a wrist which i dont really have but ,if it helps it helps well i had planned to work all weekend on the Man cave but with my hands hurtong sso much and just bad timing i got nothing done friday and my wifes car is messed up .
Well today she wanted to go to the christmas party at a woman she works withs house which i forgot about well no working on the Man cave today eithier but , it has been an up and down week . In an upswing my wifes car needs an tie rod end which isnt a major expense .
The father in law who is a great guy loaned her one of his cars to drive untill we can get it fixed .
My hands arent hurting at the moment , We went to the christmas party and had a ball and on top of that i am sober :? i cant remeber the last time that happended about half of the people she works with are our age 35 or so a few teenagers and the rest are about 50+ .
LOL there all Awesome hearing all there old stories new stories and those guys are some of the bes ..........it talkers ever lol .
We had a good round of dirty santa ,a real fireplace that was working havent seen one of those in ages ,good food ,it was fun all around i really appreciate you all letting me go on and on .
Now if nothing happens i am ready to hit the working on the man cave monday after work wide open . oh yeah i forgot the woman having the party is originally from england and she has been here in alabama about 20yrs or so she still has some of her english accent along with some new southern twang lol its the coolest voice ever . Thanks all tell any story rant rave raise the roof what ever you want to do
Who knows whats in store for us the next year Heres Hoping if you celebrate Christmans or not Have a Happy and Safe Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year Please tell any stories you want .
