My best friend is coming back from basic training (national guard) for the week of Christmas so I've been trying to figure out what would be a good gift to get him, one that he could take wherever he goes when he leaves again.

I've actually already bought him a 16GB iPod Nano (4th Gen, Black), but his girlfriend is freaking out a bit because she can't figure out what to get him. Sooo...

Anyone have any ideas?? All thoughts, idea's, suggestions, etc are welcome! Very welcome, actually, since x-mas is fast approaching!

(also, budget should be under $150 or so, unless its like an amazing idea or something. lol)

I think she's trying to go for "thoughtful" and/or "meaningful" or something like that. I suggested a promise ring, she seemed to like that idea but she's still thinking on it.
