I'm not sure i even find this story believable. I've never played a game that would actually let me use that sort of language. I could be wrong though. Either way, I think this is awesome.

Actually for extra lulz, they sell that brand and advertise it right underneath their sign.

Nope. Seamen has a pause between the syllables. Be careful about that pause when you use those words... ;) If you're going around called seamen semen you're gonna get press-ganged, or something worse! ;)

It's easier just to say "sailors", mind. :) Unless, of course, you're making the old submarine joke.

Yeah, I was going to say "sailors'" but I decided it was funnier this way. And look at the discussion over it that I started! Hehehewuahahahaha.

Absolutely ****ing true.

Hmm... maybe they accidentally mislabeled a copy of "Scrabble: Salty Seaman's Edition" lol

...sorry.

Which reminds me ... There was a kids TV show that fell prey to "urban myth" that the characters had rude names: "Seaman Staines", "Master Bates" and "Roger, the Cabin boy".

There was no one in the show called seaman anything and the cabin boy was called tom. Two British newspapers were successfully sued for printing this as fact. The Master was called "Master Mates".

However if you listen too an original soundtrack of Captain Pugwash addressing "Master Mates" it is not hard to see where the myth came from:

http://msgboard.snopes.com/radiotv/audio/pugwash2.wav

Capt'n Pugwash certainly does not sound like he is saying "Master Mates" in that clip!

Well in England we even have slang words for our slang words.

"roger" is synonymous to a word starting with the letter f that means to have sex with someone.

You asked for a mixed salad. Otherwise if the waiter doesn't like the look of you, he may well toss in your salad.
