View Full Version : Going on my 4th set of mushkin RAM...

Purchased about 2 years ago now, I'm going on my third RMA...
At the time, they were the fastest 1gig sticks on the market at 4-4-3-10, 6400... this stuff is junk. Granted, they were great when they were working correctly. The best part is, is they were never OC'd.
To get to the point of this post -- I'm just curious if any of you had had similar "luck" with Mushkin?

I had one stick of DDR 400 Mushkin a few years ago that crapped out within a month. That was before I was old/wise enough to realize I could RMA it.
Other than that haven't had any other experience with them.
I had to RMA my year old Corsair DDR2-800 this past summer but had nothing but a great experience with the process. If DDR2 drops any cheaper though, it isn't going to be worth the postage to RMA it if it happens again. But Lifetime warranty is a plus regardless.

That is odd. Mushkin RAM is usually pretty reliable stuff. You OC?

If your motherboard takes faster stuff, and you can afford it, go for it.

Seems like a good deal, OCZ is a very good brand from my experience.

I have only used OCZ in the computers that I use. I also recommend it to friends.
