It is a cool idea, but at the price that a single can costs, you might as well grab a sheet of smoked plexi.

Now if you have both lying around, then ya, why not give it a go!

I thought its original application was rather amusing, considering that the plastic on my headlights has faded yellow due to UV exposure and they're already plenty dim with just the low beams on - I hardly need to cover 'em up with anything!

What I do need to do is wet-sand 'em from a few hundred up to 1000 or so grit, and see how much good that does.

That's a neat find, mate, thanks for the tip! Will have to try that out once we get a drill that's not a steaming pile. +rep

Almost rear ended a guy that must have used like four cans per light. I hate cars that have this crap on them.

But on a case, now thats something completely different. But like nightrain said, for the price you might as well pick up some smoked plexi.

Well, what I had in mind was using some flame stencils or something of that sort -- not simply tinting the entire piece.

From the product pictures it appears that it only works on Mustangs.. :D

I like the idea of the stencil it could make a pretty neat effect.
